Manuka honey, originating from New Zealand, is exceptional due to its healing properties. It is derived from the flowers of the Manuka bush and contains a naturally occurring compound called methylglyoxal (MGO), which gives it its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Traditionally, this honey has been used for wound healing, infection treatment, and immune system support.

Its production is challenging because the Manuka bush blooms for only a limited time and grows in remote, hard-to-reach areas. Laboratory tests determine the MGO content, which classifies the honey into different strength levels. Manuka honey has gained worldwide popularity due to its unique properties and potential health benefits. Check out our certificates.
