More Than Honey
We personally guarantee high quality — because we produce the honey ourselves in New Zealand (and we enjoy eating it, too).
And why “More Than Honey”? Regular honey is already a great superfood with many health benefits. But Manuka honey goes even further.
The honey comes from the flowers of a bush called manuka in Māori, which grows only in the wild nature of New Zealand and, to a limited extent, in Australia. This honey is rich in methylglyoxal (MGO), a compound known for its strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects.
Sweetener → Food Supplement ✓
You probably enjoy using regular honey as a sweetener in tea, coffee, on toast, or when baking. Manuka honey can be used in the same way.
However, our honey is better suited for light, mindful enjoyment, as it is considered a food supplement. Just one spoon in the morning is a great way to start a healthy and productive day.
Watch Out for High Temperatures!
Manuka honey should not be heated above 37°C (99°F), as it may lose its beneficial properties. That means it’s not suitable for hot drinks.
